Senior VR of the Core and Visual Computing Group

Intel has confirmed that former Radeon Technologies Group head Raja Koduri will join the company as a chief architect and senior vice president of its Core and Visual Computing Group. According to Intel, Koduri will boost Intel's leadership in integrated graphics processors with high-end discrete graphics solutions.

Added XR support as well

The Windows 10 Fall Creators update introduced several new features. With the launch of Fall Creators update, Intel was a little in late with graphics driver however the company has released now a new version. With the 15.60 graphics drivers, Intel adds HDR and XR support.


Fans, cables and covers

Announced during Computex 2017, Noctua's Chromax fans, shrouds and cables are now available. With their Chromax series, Noctua introduces a new line of interesting products such as sleeved cables, colored fans and CPU heatsink shrouds. Yesterday we have received a big package from Noctua with inside few goodies.


Train Simulator 2017, SimplePlanes and Cities: Skylines Deluxe Edition

The Humble Strategy Simulator Lands is now live and it offers some popular simulator titles like Train Simulator 2017, Cities Skylines and Mad Games Tycoon at some extremely low prices. As usual the cost for these bundles is very low. Below you find the list of what's actually included in the bundle.



Up to 165 Hz refresh rate

ASUS has updated their gaming monitor lineup with a new curved display which goes by the name Swift PG27VQ. This monitor sports a 27-inch panel with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. In addition, the PG27VQ is the first ASUS monitor with rainbow lighting that can be controlled with Aura Sync.

First EVGA Z370 available

Like in the past, when a new chipset was launched, EVGA prepared three new models. This time they've come up with the Z370 Classified K, the Z370 FTW K and the Z370 Micro. EVGA's Z370 FTW motherboard was announced during the Intel Coffee Lake launch, but they weren't available for purchase until now.



Designed for workstations

ASUS has revealed the full specifications of its WS X299 Pro SE motherboard. This model belongs to the high-end series and it's recommended for Core i9 Pro processors. This board is designed for high-end desktops and workstations. Like the previous model base on Intel X99 chipset, the upcoming WS X299 Pro SE sports the company's highest-grade eletrical components.

With Core H-series processors

In December 2016, we have heard rumors about AMD licensing their Radeon integrated graphics chips to Intel for further use in their processors. During the past months, both Intel and AMD haven't released any further information and now, it looks like the rumours were true all along. Intel has announced its new Core H-series processors, featuring Intel's CPU cores as well as a semi-custom GPU from AMD.



A bit smaller than the Alpha 550

Lian Li has produced for decades high-end aluminum cases, now with the Alpha series the company is going in the opposite direction offering cases made out steel. The Alpha 330 is a mid-tower case which is compatible with E-ATX motherboard as well as extensive watercooling setup. Last week we reported on the company's Alpha 550 and over the weekend the company released the more-affordable Alpha 330.


Featuring red LED fans

Xigmatek has announced the Glare 7A case, a mid-tower case which is compatible with high-end graphics cards and extensive watercooling setup. Furthermore the case features a horizontal dual-compartment layout with a big PSU cover.



For 100, 200, 300-series motherboards

MSI announced a BIOS update for its 100, 200, and 300-series Gaming and Pro motherboards that upgrades the Intel Trusted Execution Engine (TXE) to the 3.0 version. This update improve the security of your system and your BIOS.


Flagship model

ASRock has revealed the full specifications of its X299 Taichi XE motherboard. This model belongs to the high-end series and it's recommended for Core i9 processors like i9-7980XE and i9-7960X CPUs. This board is quite similar to the X299 Taichi, but features a completely redesigned CPU VRM.



27-inch, 4K resolution and HDR capability

BenQ announced the SW271 monitor for photographers, which features a 27-inch panel with 3840 x 2160 resolution and IPS panel. Apart from that BenQ states that the panel used covers 99% of the Adobe RGB spectrum and 100% in the case of the sRGB profile.



Third TITAN X?

A few days ago, NVIDIA has launched the GTX 1070Ti but the company is already teasing its next GPU release, with a new video showing off the TITAN X Collector’s Edition.



With 17-inch 144Hz display

It looks like ASUS is going to release a new high-end gaming notebook. With the ROG G703 gaming notebook, the company unveils a new model which comes with a 17-inch, UHD screen with 144Hz display. Apart from that the ROG G703 sports an Intel Core i7-7820HK CPU and an Nvidia GTX 1080 GPU.
