ASUS has updated their gaming monitor lineup with a new display which goes by the name ROG Strix XG258Q. This monitor sports a 25-inch panel with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. Apart from that it features Aura RGB lighting effect.

In order to reply to AMD's new Ryzen and Threadripper CPUs, Intel is planning to increase the core count on their next-generation desktop platform. According to the latest rumors, Intel might add a eight core CPU regarding their 9th generation of mainstream desktop CPUs.

Looking at the Z370 line-up from ASUS quite a few things have change compared to the past and one of those things is the “ROG STRIX” series. There is now a complete lineup of STRIX Gaming motherboards and one of those is the ROG STRIX Z370-I Gaming, which is mini-ITX board that sports several features and RGB lighting.

A long list of mobile processors has surfaced online, the list include Coffee Lake-H and Coffee Lake-S processors intended for laptops. According to the list, Intel is going to release an unlockable Core i9 processors with six core and twelve threads for laptop.

When G.Skill isn't breaking world records for the speed of its memory, it's raising the bar for latency instead. The company has announced yet another memory kit for modders, gamers and overclockers. The TridentZ RGB DDR4-4266MHz are now available with 32GB (4x8GB) capacity and ultra-low latency at a tiny CL17 timing. They're aimed at high-end X299 and Z370 platforms.

A few weeks after we first saw leaks of the card, XFX has officially announced the RX Vega 64 and RX Vega 56 Double Edition. Both cards come with a custom cooler which sport two large red fans. During Computex 2017, ASUS has unveiled several Intel X299 motherboards and they're all starting to hit the market. The ROG Rampage VI Apex has been announced several times but it will be available only now. This motherboard features an E-ATX form factor with several PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots and M.2 slots. The motherboard is finally available and listed also on Geizhals.

A few days ago, Intel announced a complete review of its ME firmware and created some fixes for that, as well as for the Intel Server Platform Services (SPS) and Intel Trusted Execution Engine (TXE). At the moment there is a tool (available for Windows and Linux) from Intel that detects vulnerabilities on your PC. However for Elevation of Privilege fixes you will have to wait the service of your motherboard maker or laptop OEM.

Sharkoon has announced the S1000 series of cases, which include two mid-tower with a very clean design. Both cases are almost identical, the only main difference is the side panels. While the windowed one comes with a big acrylic window, the standard one sports a more simple side panel.

Futuremark's latest virtual reality benchmark VRMark Cyan Room is finally available for download. This new test measures your PC's performance with the more efficient DirectX12 API. According to the company, the test sports a new DirectX 12 engine which allows complex environment and gorgeous graphics.

A few weeks ago, NVIDIA has published its latest set of financials. According to the papers, the results were good with revenues and profits topping the final score. Furthermore, according to NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, the company did pretty well in the gaming market. However NVIDIA didn't share any data about units and market share, but Jon Peddie Research has just published a report about it.

Silverstone has introduced its new Essential series of power supply units that will be available with 450W, 550W and 650W of output power. Apart from that, there isn't a modular cable management. The Essential series is supposed to come at a reasonable price and with 3-year warranty plan.
