It is over already

During the last weeks we have talk about the GeForce Partner Program and all the rumors that it has created. Well it doesn't matter anymore since NVIDIA has killed the program. The company put up a blog post today that says that NVIDIA has decided to cancel the program.


Reset loop fixed

The previous set of drivers have been released last week and it had few bugs in them. NVIDIA has released a hotfix (397.55) to address the issues. Since this drivers went through a reduced QA process, if you haven't any issue with GeForce 397.31 driver we suggest to not update them.


397.31 WHQL are causing a few problems

A few hours ago, NVIDIA has released another version of Game Ready WHQL driver. The driver release came alone with the usual release notes and they offer performance boost for a couple of games like BattleTech and Frostpunk. On the official forum several users have reported endless PC reset loop with this drivers.


Powerful tool

Not GTX 20 series

NVIDIA's next family of gaming graphics cards might not be the GeForce GTX 20 Series after all. According to latest rumors, NVIDIA will use the GTX 11 Series name for the upcoming series. If the rumor is confirmed, NVIDIA doesn't plan to label the new cards by tens, like the current 1080 or 1070 models, but they will go with the GTX 1181 or the GTX 1185.


Still rather hard to do

During the course of the cryptocurrency hype, graphics cards makers have tried to find different strategies in order to contrast the shortage issue. NVIDIA has tried to make some effort towards this, selling some of its stock in the UK but it looks like that the green team is still far away to meet the demand.

NVIDIA's released its latest GeForce graphics drivers named 391.35. The new drivers are Game Ready for Far Cry 5. It also improves performance on GRIP and WRC 7 with a selected number of graphics cards.


Maybe already next month

During the CES 2017, ASUS and Acer among with other manufacturers have unveiled the first 4K big format gaming display. This display was set to be unveiled by the end of 2017. However due to several delays, the launch has been postponed to Q3 2018. According to some rumors, the first 4K/144Hz G-Sync HDR monitors might hit the market already next month.


Gaming brand only for NVIDIA

A few days ago, NVIDIA has introduced the GeForce Partner Program (GPP), an initiative that should fill the gap between NVIDIA and the companies that produce add-in cards or system based on its technology. NVIDIA will not require to join the program, however being part of the program will get the participants a lot of benefits.


Same chip used on GTX 1080 Ti and Titan Xp GPUs

According to a report from CryptoMining-Blog.com, it looks like NVIDIA isn't finished with the P102 GPU. The company is going to release a graphics card based on the same chip that we can find on the GTX 1080 Ti and the Titan Xp GPUs. Like the P104-100 which can be found on several cryptomining graphics cards, the P102-100 will come with a custom memory configuration.


Should be revealed at GTC 2018

By limiting the number of GPU per customer

During the last months we have published several reports regarding the rise in demand for graphics cards and the impact of the mining in this industry. This huge demand is good for manufacturers like NVIDIA and AMD, however they aren't able to produce enough GPU volume for the entire demand. Since miners are buying dozens of graphics cards, the PC gamers can't buy any of them since are usually all sold out.


Max-Q for mid-range graphics card

A few months ago, NVIDIA introduced its Max-Q design laptops and they were limited to GeForce GTX 1080, 1070 or 1060 graphics cards. The initial idea was to enable the creation of powerful gaming laptops as thin as 18mm. Now things are slowly changing and NVIDIA seems to have decided to release GTX 1050Ti Max-Q components.


388.71 WHQL drivers

The new GeForce Game Ready 388.71 WHQL drivers offer optimisations for the biggest game released this week, PUBG, the multiplayer online battle royale game developed and published by PUBG Corporation. Apart from game support some bugs have been addressed as well.


GTX 1060 for FHD experience

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds will finally leave Early Access in few days. It will be a full-fledged PC release at that point and when it debuts players will have to put together a build that can handle the game for the best experience possible. NVIDIA has published a list of recommended graphics cards at GeForce.com to offer some insight into what kind of performance its products can offer.
