ATI stellt die Radeon X1900GT offiziell vor.
 Es handelt sich um eine R580-Grafikchip Version mit deaktiviertem Pixel-Quad. Dadurch verfügt die X1900GT nur noch über 12 anstatt der maximal möglichen 16 Pixel Pipelines. Die Anzahl der Vertex Shader Einheiten bleibt bei 8 erhalten. Die GPU wird mit 575 MHz und der 256 MByte GDDR3-Speicher mit 600 MHz getaktet. Die Anbindung des Speichers erfolgt über zwei 256 Bit Ring-Buses. Über Preis und Verfügbarkeit hat ATI noch keine Angaben gemacht. Wie AMD bekannt gab, weist ein kleiner Teil der Opteron-Modelle x52 und x54 einen Herstellungsfehler auf.
