As expected, ASUS has announced its new GTX Titan Z, a new dual-GPU flagship from Nvidia with two 28nm fully-enabled GK110 GPUs sitting next to each other on a single PCB.
Based on Nvidia's reference design, ASUS's GTX Titan Z features the same GPU base clock of 705MHz with 876MHz GPU Boost and packs 12GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 7000MHz and paired up with a dual 384-bit memory interface.
Although there are rumors that the retail/e-tail availability has been delayed due to last minute changes of the GTX Titan Z cooler, which moved from 2.5-slot to 3-slot thickness, ASUS still claims that the GTX Titan Z should be available worldwide as of yesterday, 29th of April.
Unfortunately, we still can't find it listed or available but most Nvidia AIC partners should stick to already high US $2999 price tag.
