Corsair announces new Vengeance K70 gaming keyboard

Corsair has announced a new version of its Vengeance K70 mechanical gaming keyboard, the one with black aluminum and red backlit keys. The new Vengeance K70 keyboard will now be available with Cherry MX Blue and Brown, in addition to the original Cherry MX Red switches.


Based on the same design as the original Vengeance K70 gaming keyboard, the new version features an anodized black aluminum chassis as well as a red backlit keys. The backlighting can be adjusted in four levels while each lighting for key can be independently enabled or disabled via profiles which can be saved to the Vengeance K70 onboard memory.

In case you previously missed it, the Vengeance K70 features 100% anti-ghosted matrix, full n-key rollover and 1000Hz reporting rate, USB ports, dedicated multimedia controls and a removable soft-touch wrist-rest.

As noted, the Vengeance K70 will now be available with either Cherry MX Red switches, which offer smooth, linear key response without tactile bump and audible click, MX Brown switches with offer fast and precise actuation with light tactile feedback and minimal audible click and Cherry MX Blue switches with an assertive tactile feedback and audible click sound.

According to Corsair, the new versions of the Vengeance K70 mechanical gaming keyboard, backed by a two-year warranty, should be available in April with a suggested retail price of US $129.99.
