The customizable gaming mice are definitely a next big thing in gaming peripherals and it appears that Logitech thinks so as well, as it has just announced and launched its newest Logitech G502 Proteus Core gaming mouse which feature a decent level of weight customization and a rather insane 12,000 DPI sensor.


Featuring "the world's first" 12,000 DPI sensor, the G502 Proteus Core packs Logitech G Delta Zero technology and DPI can be set ranging from 200 to 12,000. The sensor comes with zero sensor acceleration, zero smoothing or filtering, and zero pixel rounding, the new Logitech G502 Proteus Core promises unparalleled tracking performance and responsiveness with movement tracking of 300-inches per second.

The rest of the specs and features include a dual-mode scroll wheel with single scroll precision or faster scrolling, on-the-fly DPI shift, onboard LED indicators, 11 programmable buttons with mechanical micro-switches for macro and shortcut options, which are controlled by a 32-bit ARM processor and which can be saved in G502 Proteus Core's onboard memory.

As for the aforementioned weight customization, the G502 Proteus Core allows you to not only adjust the weight with five 3.6g weights but also move the center of balance.

According to Logitech, the new G502 Proteus Core gaming mouse will be available in the U.S. and Europe as of April 2014 with a suggest price set at US $79.99.
