Titanfall is one of the few games released in the past few years, where developers want to do things different from the beginning. With Titanfall, Respawn Entertainment is now facing the same issue like lots of other titles suffer: cheaters. Nevertheless it looks like the guys are working on a new approach to deal with the situation.
Meanwhile FairFight has been set up for Titanfall, which is being used with Battlefield 4 or other titles from Electronic Arts to help ban cheaters. Respawn Entertainment is taking another step, no just banning cheaters but forcing them to play against one another.
On their website Respawn Entertainment issued the following statement:
Quote:
"You can play with other banned players in something that will resemble the Wimbledon of aimbot contests. Hopefully the aimbot cheat you paid for really is the best, or these all-cheater matches could be frustrating for you. Good luck."
Cheaters are going to be locked out from all non-cheating players, meaning cheaters can't invite non-cheating players. Als if the titel detects you're a cheater, you'll see a red label in the lobby. If this happens and you feel you've been banned mistakenly, you can certainly contact Respawn Entertainment to explain the situtaion.
