News coming from Maxthon

Now available for every OS

Maxthon is definitely not one of the most used browsers but it has been around for quite some time and is continuing its development. Maxthon browser is now called Maxthon Cloud Browser and is available on Windows, Mac, iOS, Android and as of this week, Linux OS as well.

Maxthon is a browser introduced with the Windows XP and first known as the MyIE2. Few year later Maxthon has become a part of the cloud-connected world and has been renamed to Maxthon Browser Cloud.

The purpose of Maxthon is to allow the user to have the same browser accessible on any and all devices. While it was previously available on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android, the browser is now also available on Linux as well. The cloud application, called the C4, allows the user to save passwords (with AES-256 encryption, of course), favorites and even files, which will be available from anywhere and on any device.

While not exactly a novelty, the Maxthon might a solution for user not willing to configure an FTP client on the browser.
