Dell has now officially announced and launched its newest 15-inch mobile workstation, the Precision M2800. Using professional graphics and processors suitable for engineers, designers and video editors, the new Dell Precision M2800 will start at rather affordable US $1,199.

Built around a 15.6-inch Full HD 1920x1080 resolution screen, the Dell Precision M2800 can be equipped with various choice of Intel 4th generation Core i5 and Core i7 CPUs paired up with AMD FirePro W4170M graphics with 2GB of dedicated memory, up to 16GB of system memory and up to 1TB of storage space. The rest of the specs include trackpoint device, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI and D-Sub video outputs, four USB ports, SD card reader, numeric keypad, fingerprint scanner, and optical device.

Unfortunately, there are no precise information regarding the availability but some sources suggest it should be available in the US as of spring with a starting price of US $1,199.
