EK Water Blocks have released a first picture showing the EK-FC R9-290X DCII full cover water block designed exclusively for ASUS' R9 290X DirectCU II graphics card.

EK Water Blocks already announced this water block earlier this month but did not have a picture of it until now. Since the ASUS R9 290X DirectCU II is a custom graphics card, EKWB had to make a few adjustments to its standard R9 290X full-cover water block and we must note that this does look a lot better than DirectCU II.

While ASUS' DirectCU II cooler does a great job in keeping the Hawaii XT GPU temperatures at bay, the EK-FC R9-290X DCII will certainly do even a better job, especially when paired up with a high-performance liquid cooling setup.

All we need now is a couple of ASUS R9 290X DirectCU II graphics cards and a couple of these nice looking full-cover water blocks.
