Galaxy is definitely pushing hard in the high-end segment these days and with their Hall of Fame series graphics cards, they do not simply have high-end graphics cards, but also high-end graphics cards that look quite good. These cards are also real animals when it comes to the performance. Apparently, the company is now preparing a new Galaxy GTX 780 Ti HOF graphics card, which will feature the recognizable white PCB and a new backplate made from brushed aluminium.
As expected, the new Galaxy GeForce GTX 780 Ti HOF (Hall of Fame) Edition is going to be based on the GK110-425-B1 chip. The GTX 780 Ti features a new version of the GK110 chip, where all 2880 CUDA cores have been enabled. The rest of the specifications include a 384 bit memory interface and since this is Galaxy's HOF edition, there will be quite an impressive factory overclock, making the high-end enthusiasts happy.
A closer look at the pictured PCB reveals some of the components. Supporting the GPU power design are eight high-end Panasonic tantalum capacitors while the memory features four KEMET tantalum caps, which have a capacitance of 330uF. Apart from these capacitors, there are six MDU3606 Mosfets from Magnachip. Furthermore, power design as well as memory chips received separate coolers.
Apparently, this card also comes with a huge triple slot cooler. Judging by the pictures, there are four heatpipes with a diameter of eight millimeter, which, we guess, pass through a copper base plate. There is also a large fin stack as well as two fans with nine centimeters diameter. Judging by these specs, this cooler should be definitely capable of removing quite a decent amount of heat.
Unfortunately there is no information on the availability or pricing these days. For this we have to remain patient. Hopefully there will be more details in the next few weeks.
