Today is the official launch day of AMD's new high-end Radeon R9 290X graphics cards. There have been lots of rumors on this particular reference card before the launch and lots of people have been hoping that it's a Titan killer for way less money. Well, it looks like the R9 290X is definitely fast and in ultra high resolutions like Ultra HD, the R9 290X is actually faster than the NVIDIA's mighty GTX Titan but when it comes to lower resolutions such as 1440p or 1080p, then the Titan is a tiny little bit quicker.
