Rig of the day - weekly report

There was quite some awesomeness

Here is a summary of what you missed this week! We have received many configurations via email, we thank all our fans and next week we will continue uploading new photos. Stay tuned! If you wanna join, send to us a message at our official page: facebook

The first configuration received is from the Team HKEPC! The setup that Mad sent to us includes the last born of ASUS X79, the Rampage 4 BE combined with an i7-4930K and Corsair Platinum RAM. With a Galaxy GTX 780 HOF, Mad222 and Stephen have recorded 21832 points in 3DMark11. All the white you see on the components is not paint but ice, produced from liquid nitrogen used to cool down CPU and graphics card!

In the past days we have shared some configurations made by OverclockersUK and 8Pack. Some of you might know who 8Pack actually is and what his name really stands for, since he is one hell of an extreme overclocker these days. And the "Caution, do not touch", becomes kind of credible if you see the guy in action.

The setup of NameGT, from team KOR and NP2Korea in Pro OC, with two powerfull nVidia GTX 780 in SLI. The i7-4930K is obviously cooled with LN2 and pushed to 5.7 GHz while the GTX 780 graphics cards com from ASUS and MSI. The MSI Lightning is the ideal card for most extreme overclocker.

Surely you have heard of Kingpin, since he is one of the most famous overclocker in the world and he also sells his very own pots for extreme cooling. Last week Vince sent us some photos of his products in action, pot and motherboards completely frozen, quite spectacular!

Allen sent us a few pictures of the last two setups on which he has clocked! The first is an ASRock Z87 OC Formula combined with an i7-4770K and Avantium BBSE RAM, configuration used during the contest XS 4GHz. In the second we find a i7-4820K at 6.95GHz on ASUS Rampage IV Black with 4x4GB Corsair Dominator Platinum. Graphics card (HOF 780) and power supply are signed Galaxy. In both systems uses extreme cooling, Single Stage by RUNMC and LN2.
