Nvidia price cuts for GTX Titan/700 incoming

Pushed by AMD

It was quite clear that AMD's recent announcement of the Radeon R9 and R7 series graphics cards will push Nvidia to do a price-cut on some of its graphics cards and according to Sweclockers.com, these will happen all across GTX 700 series range as well as the GTX Titan flagship.

According to the report, Nvidia will slash prices on all three high-end Geforce GTX 700 series graphics cards as well as the GTX Ttian that could end up with the most significant price cut. The GTX Titan price cut most likely comes as a result of AMD's recent price cut for the Radeon HD 7990 that went from US $999 down to US $699, making it quite a steal considering that you also get all the games from the Never Settle program. It is, unfortunately, still not clear how far would Nvidia be able to cut its flagship GTX Titan graphics card but it might be close in order to ease the pressure from AMD's lineup.

In addition to the GTX Titan, Nvidia apparently plans to give its entire GTX 700 series range a decent price cut and although precise details are unknown, the report suggest that it could be US $50 for the GTX 780 and anywhere between US $30 and $50 for the GTX 770. This would leave a rather interesting gap between the GTX 770 and the GTX 780 which could be prepared for the recently rumored GTX 770 Ti graphics cards.

We are obviously on the verge of yet another price wars between Nvidia and AMD.
