Motorola Mobility that has been bought by Google a while back has finally got a new logo, changing it to something a bit more stylish and eye-pleasing.
Although the famous "M" letter is still there, it is now surrounded by a bit, or to be precise, a lot more color than the old one. The big all-caps bold and italic MOTOROLA badge has been changed to a new all-lower-case company name logo with a "a Google company" tagline.
The old black and white logo was introduced back in 1955 and the last time it was changed was beck when Motorola Mobility was separated from Motorola Solutions as it moved from a monochrome "M" to a bright red one. The new logo appeared on the site of Techweek, a technology conference Motorola is co-sponsoring in Chicago later this week.
The move to a new logo comes at an interesting turning point as Motorola is expected to launch the USA made Moto X smartphone later this year.
