Gainward rolls out GTX 780 Phantom GLH Edition

Goes Like Hell Edition for 1033MHz Boost clock

Gainward has released the new Phantom series GTX 780 graphics card based on custom design with Gainward's recognizable "Phantom" cooler, the GTX 780 Phantom Goes Like Hell (GLH) Edition.

Based on a pretty much the same design as the original Gainward GTX 780 Phantom, the new GLH Edition comes with a slightly higher factory overclock where GPU is set to work at 980MHz base and 1033MHz Boost clocks. It still comes with 3072MB of GDDR5 memory overclocked to 3100MHz (6200MHz effective). These clocks are enough to make the Gainward GTX 780 Phantom GLH the fastest GTX 780 in the market, performs up to 19 percent faster than the reference GTX 780 and even reaches the performance level of the GTX Titan.

In case you missed it earlier, the GTX 780 is based on Nvidia's GK110 GPU with 2304 stream processors and 3GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 384-bit memory interface. The Gainward Phantom cooler feature removable fans where each fan can be removed for cleaning as well as five 8mm heatpipes that are soldered to a copper base and paired up with a large heatsink.

Unfortunately, the price or the actual availability date have not been announced.
