During Computex, Gigabyte has officially unveiled its new Geforce GTX Titan graphics that actually comes bundled with the Windforce 3X cooler. The reference cooled GTX Titan in the bundle is factory overclocked but should be quieter and sustain GPU Boost for longer time when paired up with Windforce 3X cooler.
As noted, the new GTX Titan and the Windforce 3X DIY cooler are bundled in a single large box and the card is actually factory-overclocked to 928MHz for the base and 980MHz for GPU Boost clocks while memory was left at reference 6.0GHz. While the new Gigabyte GTX Titan actually can work with reference cooler as well, it should be much quieter and should be able to better sustain boost clocks.
In case you missed it earlier, the Windforce 3X uses a special aluminum heatsink that is connected to the GPU via five 8mm copper heatpipes and cooled by three 80mm fans. The bundle also contains thermal pads for memory and VRM, thermal paste, screws and washers and pretty much everything you need in order to get rid of the reference one and mount the Windforce 3X. As a bonus, Gigabyte also included a nice large mouse-pad.
Unfortunately, Gigabyte did not shed any light on the actual availability date or the price premium for this new Windforce 3X DIY GTX Titan graphics card.
