Gigabyte shows new notebooks and tablets

Temash based model show up at Computex

Gigabyte has used the Computex 2013 show to show off no less than 11 different new models of notebooks and tablets, including a couple of Haswell based notebooks, Ultrabooks as well as a rather interesting tablet based on AMD's upcoming Temash platform.

Gigabyte unveiled a couple of gaming-friendly P34G and P35K Ultrablade notebooks with Geforce GTX 760M graphics part as well as the touchscreen enabled U24T and same model without a touch screen, U24F that will feature Geforce GT 750M graphics. The rest of the lineup includes a couple of standard notebooks, the Q2546N, Q2556N, U35F, P27K and P27W, equipped with wide selection of Haswell CPUs and Geforce 700 series GPUs.

The most interesting thing on display could actually be a 10-inch Slate S10A, based on AMD Temash platform with A4-1200 APU. This one should deliver up to 14 hours of battery life and pack enough performance punch to even deal with some guys, judging from earlier AMD demonstrations.

All in all, Gigabyte is certainly aiming for a greater influence on the notebook and tablet market.
