Corsair has decided that Computex 2013 show in Taipei is just the right time to announce, launch and update its line of Raptor and Vengeance gaming peripherals.
Back in March, Corsair released its high-end fully mechanical gaming keyboard with Cherry MX Red switches but in order to meet the demand of users that simply prefer a different type of key feedback, Corsair has now expanded the K70 line to include two new versions with Cherry MX Blue and Cherry MX Brown key switches. These two feature slightly higher trigger pressure and give out more of a tactile feel while Brown are also slightly quieter.
In addition to the new version of the Vengeance K70, Corsair also announced the new Vengeance K65 Compact mechanical gaming keyboard. It is pretty much the K70 but without the numpad. IT maintains the full-size key spacing and features Cherry MX Red switches, linear key response and ultra fast reaction times. It also features a 100% anti-ghosted matrix, full key rollover, and a 1000Hz reporting rate for rapid input without dropping critical keystrokes as well as a detachable cable for easy packing.
In addition to the updates for the Vengeance line, Corsair also launched a couple of products in its Raptor lineup including the new Raptor K50 gaming keyboard with RBG back-light. It also features on-board macro storage, 100% anti-ghosting with full-key rollover on USB, and 16.8 million color customizable back-lighting and combines it with a membrane key feel. It comes with 18 programmable gaming keys and three banks for up to 54 macros that can be stored in the keyboard's built-in memory as well as six dedicated multimedia keys for convenient music and video playback and a Windows lock key for uninterrupted game play.
Corsair also launched a couple of gaming rodents, the Raptor M40 and the Raptor M30. Both designed for gaming performance and featuring the same Avago ADNS-3090 4000 DPI optical gaming sensor, PTFE glide pads and fast response time. The Raptor M40 comes with an adjustable weight system and seven programmable buttons with macros and for critical gaming functions while the M30 features six buttons enable one-click access to critical game functions, and on-the-fly DPI switching with a DPI LED indicator.
The Raptor M-series mice should be available as of June while the new keyboards are scheduled to appear in July. You can check out the prices below.
