Acer Predator CG437KP monitor available

43-inch display with 4K and 144Hz

During Next@Acer, Acer has unveiled several new products regarding their Predator series of products. During the show, the company has presented gaming peripherals, several laptops and a big Predator monitor (called CG437KP) that blurs the line between a television and a display. All the upcoming products should become available during the next months.

The Predator CG437KP makes use of a 43-inch panel and 3840 x 2160 Pixel resolution. The display is based on a VA panel and it's certified to VESA DisplayHDR 1000 standards, offering 1000 cd/m2 peak brightness, 10-bit colour depth support and 90% DCI-P3 colour gamut.

Acer is marketing this display as a gaming monitor and it supports AdaptiveSync, so it's compatible with both AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies. The refresh rate is set to up to 144Hz and there aren't any information about the grey-to-grey response time. For connectivity the monitor comes with three HDMI ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 and one USB 3.1 Type-C connectors.

The Acer Predator CG437KP will be available for €1'499.
