Intel lists new 9th Gen Core with R0 stepping

New BIOS

Several motherboard manufacturers like ASRock, ASUS and Gigabyte, have already started rolling out BIOS updates for Intel 300-series motherboards to accommodate Intel's upcoming 9th-generation Core processors with the R0 stepping.

The CPU stepping is essentially a revision to the original CPU design. Since nothing in life is perfect, a CPU design isn't an exception. A new stepping can bring different things to the table, like bug fixes, more performance and lower power consumption. For example, many of you will remember the difference between the i7-920 C0 and D0. In that case the gap was pretty interesting.

Below you can find all the CPUs that will get the new stepping R0.
