Battlefield V finally gets its battle royale mode

Firestorm is here

DICE has finally launched its Firestorm battle royale mode on all platforms. This big update comes four months after the official launch of Battlefield V.

In Firestorm 64 players drop into Halvoy, a map that’s 10 times larger than the biggest map in Battlefield V. There are different closing rings like every battle royale, overall the game rules are always the same. The main differences are the vehicles. In this game mode vehicles play a large part, there are 17 different models including choppers and tanks.

In order to fight against this powerful vehicles, there is a wide range of anti-vehicle weapons and artillery strikes in the form of reinforcements that can be picked up along the way.

For those that don’t own Battlefield V, which is required to access Firestorm, EA has temporarily put BFV with a discount of up to 50%. The Deluxe Edition includes exclusive Special Assignments "inspired by the British Special Air Service and German Fallschirmjäger troops", special outfits and 20 weekly customisable items.
