NVIDIA releases its first Creator Ready Drivers

Compatible with GeForce 10xx and newer consumer GPUs

NVIDIA has surprised industry watchers by unveiling a new graphics driver branch dubbed the NVIDIA Creator Ready Driver. These drivers are compatible with GeForce 10-series and consumer graphics cards (like Titan and newer). According to the first information, these drivers aren't aimed at "pro" creators but more to "enthusiast" users.

With the Creator Ready Driver 419.67, NVIDIA provides an optimal experience (speed and reliability) in Autodesk Arnold, Unreal Engine 4.22, REDCINE-X PRO, Adobe Lightroom, and Substance Designer by Adobe. At the moment there aren't many details about this new generation of drivers.

The version numbering aligns to the regular GeForce Game Ready Driver, the improvements in applications are in comparison to the previous driver branch. It'll be interesting to see how often the Creator Ready Drivers get updated and how they perform in the gaming field. At this point we would expect gaming performance on a par with Game Ready Driver (GRD) and Creator Ready Driver (CRD).
Creators are constantly faced with tight deadlines and depend on having the latest hardware and creative tools to complete their projects on time, without compromising quality," said Eric Bourque, senior software development manager at Autodesk. "We're excited that Nvidia is introducing a Creator Ready Driver program because it will bring Arnold users an even higher level of support, helping them bring their creative visions to life faster and more efficiently.
