Logitech is bringing back the MX518 mouse

Long life MX518!

The MX518 mouse has been one of the most famous rodent from Logitech. I wouldn't be surprised if a few of you are still holding a MX518 as you read this news. If you are looking for a replacement then you'll be happy to know that Logitech is going to release a new version.

Few things have been changed but this is obviously a good thing since we're talking about a mouse from 14 years ago. First of all, Logitech has replaced all the internals with its HERO sensor which derives from the PixArt PWM3389 sensor. The new MX518 now supports 1KHz operations with 1ms response time.

Design wise, there are eight buttons fully programmable and you can save your settings to the mouse's onboard memory - a feature that we expect in ever gaming mouse in 2019. The shape is the same, according to Logitech they didn't change the size of the MX518.

The Logitech MX518 is available on the official website for $60.
