Steam hardware survey reveals how many RTX cards are used

Some gamers use them

According to the latest Steam hardware survey, NVIDIA is still holding the crown, when it comes to graphics card market share. No less than 74 percent of the users on Steam own a system where the graphics department is powered by a GeForce graphics card.

A few days ago, the latest Steam hardware survey has been published and as always it contains a lot of information on which hardware is the most favorite amongst PC gamers. It hasn't been long since AMD released its new Radeon VII card, and only a few months since NVIDIA released its RTX line, but according to Steam those graphics cards are slowly finding their way.

NVIDIA is still holding the crown with more than 70% of share, Intel is around 10% and AMD is filling the gap (15%). The GTX 1060 is still the most popular, accounting for just under 15 percent of all reported graphics cards. The GTX 1050Ti comes in second place at 9.3 percent. According to the chart, the first eleven NVIDIA graphics cards belong to the GTX series.

The numbers with RTX graphics cards are still rather disappointing. The RTX 2080Ti share is around 0.15%, RTX 2080 is close to 0.30% and RTX 2070 is a bit higher and close to 0.33%. Those numbers are very low, the RTX 2080Ti is actually at the bottom close to NVIDIA GTX 780 and 745 GPUs.

At the moment there isn't any data about the Radeon VII that could appear any time soon. If you want to dive into all the details we recommend you to check the link below, which will lead you to the full survey over at Steam.
