AMD Radeon VII spotted in several databases

Pretty close to RTX 2080

AMD's upcoming Radeon VII graphics card has been spotted in 3DMark's database. In addition, the graphics card has popped up on Square Enix's Final Fantasy XV database. According to latest informations, the Radeon VII should be very close to NVIDIA RTX 2080.

According to the performance numbers, the Radeon VII can hit 27'400 points on the FireStrike, 13'400 points on the FIreStrike Extreme and, 6'800 points on the FireStrike Ultra benchmarks. Checking on the 3DMark database we see that a NVIDIA RTX 2080 can scores around 27'000 points on FireStrike and 6'400 points on FireStrike Ultra. In other words, the AMD card looks pretty close to the NVIDIA one.

The AMD Radeon VII has been spotted in the Final Fantasy XV database as well but the score looks pretty low. With the resolution set to 2560 x 1440, the upcoming AMD card has scored 300 points higher than the RTX 2070 and 1'200 points lower than the RTX 2080.

At the moment there aren't more informations but during next days we should know more for sure.
