Sapphire is working on a new Radeon RX 570 graphics card

With 16GB GDDR5 memory

Sapphire has a new graphics card on the way based on the Radeon RX 570 design. This card is the first product announcement of 2019 and it packs 16GB of GDDR5 RAM.

As you might know, the good amount of VRAM should be interesting to a niche of buyers looking to mine a new cryptocurrency. While talking about crypto-card in these days is a bit odd, we might see more crypto-cards rather soon. At the moment the AMD RX 570 are now priced quite reasonably.

For example, the design of the Sapphire Radeon RX 570 can work pretty well with early Grin mining. The compute units inside the RX 570 are enough for the Grin algorithm and the extra amount of memory could work pretty well with Cuckaroo algorithm.

Sapphire's Radeon RX 570 with 16GB GDDR5 is said to be a third of the price of competing 16GB graphics cards. In other words, the upcoming RX 570 16B might costs around $400 USD.
