Phanteks announces two Glacier RTX waterblocks

Compatible with ASUS and Gigabyte custom GPUs

More than two years ago, during Computex 2016, Phanteks presented its first water cooling products. Meanwhile right after the NVIDIA’s latest graphics cards have become available, Phanteks is ready to add two new water blocks to the portfolio, which are compatible with Gigabyte AORUS Extreme RTX 2080/2080 Ti and ASUS Strix RTX 2080/2080 Ti graphics cards.

With their Glacier water blocks, Phanteks uses nickel-plated copper for the base plate. On top of that there is a cover made from acrylic glass with sandblasted sheet metal bezels. Phanteks is is going to offer two different versions whereas one features a "mirrored chrome" and the other a "satin black" finish. Apart from that the Glacier water blocks will be available with integrated RGB LEDs.

Furthermore the company has introduced the Glacier G2080Ti backplate which is designed to work with their own water blocks. The GPU blocks will be available for $149.99 each and the backplate costs $29.99/39.99 for the black/chrome versions towards the end of this month.

Last but not least, Phanteks has revealed flat riser cables and a vertical GPU bracket. Both accessories should be available during this month.
