Antec announces the P101 Silent Guardian case

Antec has announced the P101 Silent Guardian case, which offers support for ATX motherboards and up to eight HDDs. The P101 Silent Guardian is a mid-tower chassis that's been made from steel, ABS plastic and aluminum. Although there is a well-thought internal layout and a very reasonable number of features, the Antec P101 Silent Guardian comes at an attractive $109 price tag.



The P101 Silent Guardian measures 527 x 232 x 506mm and classifies as a mid-tower. The case share a simple design and the chassis is made from solid steel and aluminum. In order to keep the case silent, both side panels are covered in noise-absorbing foam and fan intakes have removable filters. On the inside there is space for ATX, micro-ATX or mini-ITX motherboards. Cooling wise there is space for one big radiator (360mm) that can be mounted in the front. In addition there is enough space for high-end tower coolers, which can measure up to 180mm in height.

The internal layout is overall simple and straightforward, you can install up to eight HDDs or two SSDs. At the front of the case, there are two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports as well as standard HD audio jacks, alongside power and reset switches. Overall this case looks quite similar to the P110 that has been unveiled a few months ago.

According to Antec, the MSRP for this chassis is $109.
