ASUS unveils two high-end motherboards

ROG Zenith Extreme Alpha and Rampage VI Extreme Omega

The ROG Zenith Extreme Alpha and Rampage VI Extreme Omega are based on AMD X399 and Intel X299 chipsets respectively however they are nearly identical. Both motherboards come with E-ATX form factors and they are loaded with PCIe and M.2 slots.



Although these platforms are derived from workstation environment, they still sports gamer features. Both motherboards can run up to two triple-slot graphics cards with a full 16 lanes of bandwidth each. Storage wise there are heatsinks for M.2 SSDs.

Each model also features all the bells and whistles that you need like LiveDash OLED display, aluminum backplate, Fan Extension Card II and several RGB LEDs.

At the moment there aren't more details but we will know more during next weeks.
