LG 38GL950G G-Sync and 49WL95C soon available

In a couple of weeks

LG is set to showcase a new range of monitors during upcoming CES 2019. The company will unveil their new "Ultra" series of displays, starting with the 32:9 UltraWide 49WL95 and the UltraGear 38GL950G G-Sync Gaming monitors.

The LG UltraWide 49WL95 is a 32:9 display that comes with a huge 49-inch panel and a quite uncommon resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixel. The display covers 99% of the sRGB color spectrum and is designed to support HDR10 inputs. Anyway, since the display sports a brightness of 350 nits, we haven't so much confidence in the HDR capabilities. On the I/O part we spot one USB Type-C port paired with HDMI and DisplayPort inputs. Furthermore there is a USB 3.0 hub with four ports.

Regarding the gaming side, LG unveils the UltraGear 38GL950G. This display comes with a 144Hz G-Sync display and a resolution of 3840 x 1600. At the moment there aren't more details, what we know for sure is that the display comes with both HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort inputs. Furthermore, the monitor is compatible with Sphere lighting system which is set to be detailed further at CES 2019.
