NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 is coming

Sooner than expected

Currently the GeForce RTX lineup consists of three high-end models. Meanwhile it looks like the fourth model is just around the corner, since the official logo for the GeForce RTX 2060 has been spotted.

According to the latest leaked details, the GeForce RTX 2060 might be released or announced in January after CES. The currently leaked logo appears to confirm that the card will belong to the RTX series like the other models. Since the upcoming NVIDIA card will be called RTX 2060, there is no doubt that it will sport Ray Tracing functionality with dedicated RT cores.

Regarding the specifications it looks like the future cards will feature 1'920 CUDA cores and 6GB of GDDR6 memory. It's worth noting that these leaked RTX 2060 specifications show that the card has the same number of CUDA cores as the GTX 1070. Since Turing has seen improvements on the SM cores, the upcoming RTX 2060 might be a bit faster than the current GTX 1070 graphics card.
