NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 pictured

Specifications leaked as well

Thanks to a leak published on Videocardz there are finally new details on the upcoming RTX 2060 graphics cards. This time we are talking about a custom model from Gigabyte that probably will belong to the vendor’s WindForce series.

According to the pictures, we can see that the card lacks support for NVLink/SLI and uses a single PCIe 8-pin power connector. The card features a dual slot heatsink and a dense aluminum fin stack that has been combined with two fans. The entire cooler has been kept in black and there might be a solid back plate presenting the Aorus logo - which we cannot see on the images.

Specification wise, the chip underneath the heatsink sports 1'920 CUDA core and it’s been wired to 6GB of GDDR6 memory. It's worth noting that these leaked RTX 2060 specifications show that the card has the same CUDA core count as the GTX 1070. Since Turing has seen improvements on the SM cores, the upcoming RTX 2060 might be a bit faster than the current GTX 1070 graphics card.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 is expected to be released in early 2019 for both mobile and desktop systems.
