LinusTechTips leaks RTX Titan box art

RTX Titan is in the works - apparently

According to latest rumors and leaks, NVIDIA is working on a RTX Titan graphics card. During the last few hours, we have seen multiple sources around the world revealing details regarding the new Titan.

The RTX Titan is supposed to be based on a PCB, which is similar to the on that RTX 2080Ti graphics card comes with. Specification wise, we expect to see higher memory bandwidth, more CUDA cores and up to 12GB of GDDR6 memory. According to Overclock3D, the upcoming Titan might basically be a Quadro RTX 8000 with less VRAM. This card comes with an additional 256 CUDA cores compared to the RTX 2080Ti and a 384-bit wide memory bus.

On the Twitter account of AndrewNG, there are a couple of pictures already. Although the images are far from being perfect, we can see a shroud similar to the one used on the GeForce RTX 20XX series graphics cards. We don't know if it’s the light or the angle, but the shroud appears to shimmer golden. In addition there is the Titan logo with blue backlight, which seems quite unusual since all the previous reference design cards from NVIDIA used to feature green illumination.

You might have already done your own math and concluded that NVIDIA seems to be trying their luck with guerilla marketing techniques. If these were our usualy leaks there would be much less information and on top of that there would be such a nice spread over social media and more conventional media.

Nevertheless it’s always great to see information on new products surface as this keeps things interesting. As for now it seems that NVIDIA might actually be presenting and launching it’s next Titan pixel accelerator during Computex 2019.
