Intel 9th generation mobile processors spotted

In Lenovo ultrabook

Intel's 9th generation mobile CPUs seems to be incoming rather sooner than later. Three chips have already been spotted on a spec sheet of Lenovo’s IdeaPad S530-13IWL. At this time it's not clear when these ultrabooks are going to hit the market or in other words when the first products with these chips on board are going to be available.

With the Core i7-9550U, Core i5-9250U and Core i3-9130U processors Intel adds three models that should replace the Core i7-8565U, Core i5-8265U and Core i3-8145U. Since the IdeaPad S530 will offer both sets of chips, they might share the same pin-out as their 8th Gen brethren. According to latest rumors, the upcoming chips should sport a quad-core design with 2MB of cache per core and a TDP of 15W.

Currently the consensus is that these upcoming models from Lenovo are supposed to make it to market somewhen during Q2 2019 and it’s likely that Lenovo is going to announce them during the 2019 CES.
