Microsoft re-releases Windows 10 Oct 2018 update

This time without bugs

As you might know or you might have experienced it yourself actually, Microsoft’s Windows 10 1809 update came with quite a few rather annoying bugs. This is why the folks over in Redmond decided to stop the OS software deployment for a while and focused on getting rid of any annoying bugs.

The biggest issue of Windows 10 version 1809 was probably the user file "deletion" bug. Microsoft revealed that the user files haven’t been deleted but moved into some unknown folder. In other words, the personal documents, music, pictures and videos were recoverable. On 10th October, Microsoft released a fix and decided to re-activate the process for its Windows Insider program.

A couple of days ago, Microsoft published an article confirming that the new update is finally available for Windows 10, Windows Server 2019 and other Windows Server operating systems.
