MSI MEG Z390 ACE motherboards leaked

Another high-end motherboard

Our friends over at Videocardz have spotted yet another high-end Z390 motherboard. This time we are looking at the MSI MEG Z390 ACE. With the ACE, MSI unveils a cheaper variant of the Godlike. Compared to the flagship model, the ACE drops the OLED screen and sports only one M.2 shield.

With the MEG Z390 ACE, MSI has created a board with an armada of features, such as three M.2 slots for example. This new model is based on the E-ATX form-factor and there are the usual four DIMM slots. Apart from that "Mystic Light" RGB lighting is supported, which allows for changing the illumination of the board from within Windows.

There are four full-sized PCIe slots with steel reinforcements. Between each full-sized PCIe slot there is a M.2 slot and only one of them has been covered with a MSI M.2 Shield which helps preventing M.2 SSDs from thermal throttling. The slots can hold a whole variety of M.2 drives and the longest of them can measure up to 110mm, complying with the 22110 standard. In the case of SATA-III ports you'll find six of them, which have been angled by 90°. MSI has also added quite a few bells and whistles if you plan on overclocking your CPU.

So far MSI has been showcasing all its new motherboards on Youtube and you can find the link below
