Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master spotted

Flagship model

In the past days more and more rumors have surfaced regarding Intels upcoming new mainstream desktop processors. While these chips are compatible with the current generation of Z370 motherboards, there is also a bunch of new, Z390 based motherboards expected to hit the market. So far we’ve spotted some new pictures of an upcoming board from Gigabyte.

According to the pictures, the Z390 Aorus Master might be based on an E-ATX form factor. There is RGB backlight underneath each heat sink as well as in close proximity to the audio implementation. There is a total of two full-sized PCIe 3.0 x16 slots which received with metal reinforcements and there are three PCIe X1 slots. Furthermore the motherboard sports a rather thick backplate which should improve overall stiffness.

Storage wise, there are six angled SATA-III ports and the three M.2 slots allow for installing differently sized SSDs. While two M.2 slots are compatible with 22110 units, the third one supports 2280 SSDs. Looking for additional features, it seems that this board will also be a decent choice for overclocking.

At a first glance this is certainly a good looking motherboard but as always with high-end products, the price is going to be high-end as well.
