Razer upgrades Blackwidow keyboard

Now with dedicated media controls

Razer has updated the Blackwidow Elite gaming keyboard, finally adding dedicated media controls. While this isn't an earth-shattering update, we believe that it is still a very welcome change since the volume knob can be very useful in quite a few situations.

The Blackwidow Elite is a mechanical keyboard which has been designed for gamers. It comes with fully customizable RGB backlighting that can be configured with the Razer Synapse software, and dimmed or brightened by the LED brightness switch on the keyboard. At the moment the keyboard is available with Razer Green, Orange and Yellow switches only.

Layout wise, the Blackwidow Elite doesn't feature any additional macro key but now there are four media controls placed in the top right corner. Furthermore there is a USB 2.0 port and an audio pass through for easy cable routing.

The Razer Blackwidow Elite is available now for €179.99 Euro in the Razer store.
