CableMod reveals their custom PCIe bracket

For ATX cases

During the past months, we have seen several gaming cases with vertical PCIe bracket support. However, one of the biggest problems with vertical graphics card mounting kits is that the GPU sits very close to the side panel. In this way the airflow is very limited and the GPU tends to run a bit hot. For this reason, CableMod has releaved a mounting kit that should avoid this issue.

With the vertical PCIe bracket, CableMod creates a support which is compatible with existing PCIe slots. Furthermore the company ships two DisplayPort extension cables to allow display connections to fit through standard slotted PCIe brackets. Before install this kit, we suggest to check the size of your graphics card since the bracket adds few centimeters of length to your GPU.

According to CableMod, this bracket will match with most of the cases around since the company has used high-quality powder coat. The support is made out steel in order to keep the GPU steady and secure. The vertical PCIe bracket is available on the official CableMod store for 59.90 Euro.
