During the Computex 2018, Seasonic has revealed a fully digital PSU featuring a totem pole PFC converter and GaN MODFETs (HEMTs). Aside from this monstrous unit, the company has unveiled the new Snow Silent series and a SFX model.


The 1600W Titanium PSU from Seasonic isn't the first unit that features a fully digital topology. At the moment there aren't many details about this upcoming model, but we expect to see it rather soon on the market. In addition the company has unveiled the first Seasonic SFX-L power supply. With the SGX-650, the company adds finally a compact unit for SFF cases.

The SGX-650 features a fully-modular design, fluid dynamic bearing fan with semi-passive technology and 80 Plus Gold efficienty. Furthermore the unit is covered by a 10-year warranty. Last but not least, Seasonic has updated the Snow Silent series with three new models: 550W, 650W and 750W. At the moment we don't have more information.
