ASUS ROG Swift PG27UQ is launching in June

One of the first 4K/144Hz monitors to hit the market

A few days ago, Acer announced that their Predator X27 4K HDR monitor is going to be available during next weeks. Well, something appears to be going on, since also ASUS will release its monitor quite soon. Both displays feature the same AU Optronics panel.

As we already mentioned the Swift PG27UQ monitor is going to be equipped with a 27-inch panel and 3840 x 2160 Pixel resolution. There will be one HDMI 2.0 connector and two DisplayPort 1.4 ports.

The display is based on an IPS panel with 100.000.000:1 contrast ratio and 1000 cd/m2 brightness. ASUS is marketing this display as a gaming monitor and it supports G-Sync. The refresh rate is set to up to 144Hz and the grey-to-grey response time is set to 4ms.

On top of the specs there is a very well-built thin frame, which allows for pan, tilt, swivel and height adjustment. So far ASUS has not revealed any details on pricing however since the Acer Predator X27 costs around $2000 USD, you should expect a similar price tag even for the ASUS display.
