ASUS rolls back AREZ to ROG

Since NVIDIA has killed GPP

The GPP has created a lot of bad press for NVIDIA, so much that the company has cancelled the program a couple of weeks ago. Right after the announcement of the GPP, some AIB and AIC partners already had made changes and created separate lines for their Radeon cards. For example MSI created the MECH series only for AMD products.

Along with MSI and their Mech 2 series, ASUS did a large press release stating they made changes to their graphics card lineup. Right after the GPP, ASUS introduced the AREZ series and moved all the Radeon graphics cards into this new chapter. Furthermore the company removed the ROG logo from all the AMD products.

After all criticism, NVIDIA ended the GPP almost two weeks ago and some partners were already ready with changing their products lines. It looks like ASUS is ready to roll back to the ROG series and delete the AREZ program. According to ASUS, the AREZ Radeon graphics cards are history now and the company is ready to go back to the roots. We are curious to see what MSI will do now.
