Logitech this week introduced its new entry-level gaming mouse that uses its proprietary Lightspeed wireless interface as well as its latest HERO sensor. The Logitech G305 mouse features an ambidextrous form factor and it doesn't sport any RGB lighting.
The G305 is second mouse to feature the company's HERO (high efficiency rated optical) sensor with 12'000 DPI and up to 40G acceleration. Furthermore, the mouse uses the proprietary Lightspeed wireless interface that allegedly cuts the input lag that you can find in a standard wireless connection. With Lightspeed Wireless you will get a polling rate of 1 ms and a better signal strength.
Another important aspect of the G305 is battery life. According to the manufacturer, the G305 mouse can last for 250 hours with one AA battery and up to nine months when its polling rate is reduced to 8 ms. Like we have mentioned before, the G305 sports an ambidextrous form factor, and the mouse there are six programmable buttons.
Logitech's G305 Lightspeed wireless gaming mouse will be available in black and white later this month for a suggested price of $59.99 USD.
