ASUS adds new ProArt PA32UC professional monitor

Featuring 4K IPS panel

ASUS has expanded its monitor lineup with a new model measuring 32-inch diagonally and featuring a 3840 x 2160 pixel IPS panel. Furthermore the ProArt PA32UC is the first 32-inch display compatible with HDR400 standard. According to ASUS, the new ProArt PA32UC professional is supposed to be used in the office environment.

As we already mentioned the ProArt PA32UC monitor has been equipped with a 32-inch panel and 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution. On the back of the monitor there is one Mini DisplayPort 1.2 connector, four HDMI ports (HDMI 2.0b) and two Thunderbolt 3 ports.

According to ASUS, the display comes with a dynamic contrast ratio of 1000:1 and 1000 cd/m2 brightness. ASUS is marketing this display for content creators and the fact that the panel gets color temperature selection and low blue light is certainly a commitment into that direction.

Since this isn't a gaming monitor, there won't be any features such as FreeSync or G-Sync. On top of the convincing specs there is a very well-built thin frame, which allows for pan, tilt, swivel and height adjustment. Furthermore it is compatible with VESA 100x100mm mounts making this display ideal for multi-monitor configurations if required. At this time ASUS has not revealed more details on pricing and availability.
