According to a Taiwanese PC industry sources, ASRock might enter in the graphics card market as well. The Taiwanese electronics company, currently owned by Pegatron, is producing motherboards, barebones systems, servers and even network products. Since ASRock is producing already several hardware components, it's not a surprise if they would join in GPU market as well.
Following a report from DigiTimes, ASRock has had a great success in cryptocurrency due to their world first mining motherboard. Due to this success, it's not a surprise if ASRock wants join as AMD partner. They are currently selling motherboards with 13 GPU PCIe slots and if they start supplying graphics cards for this motherboards could make sense.
During the last year we have seen plenty of overclocking products by Nick Shih. Like for EVGA with Vince Lucido, we expect to see some similar high-end graphics cards from ASRock as well. The company has a great history and knowledge with VRM design and Super Alloy components that might help with graphics cards as well.
