Although liquid cooling AIOs are more affordable and usually easier to mount, some people still prefer the reliability and lifespan of twin tower CPU coolers. To be honest, we use twin tower coolers for most of our CPU benchmarks since they are more compact and they don't require any radiator support. According to Cooler Master, the MasterAir MA620P cooler can deliver the performance of a liquid AIO cooler.
With the MasterAir MA620P, Cooler Master offers a heavy twin tower CPU cooler with six copper heatpipes and several aluminum fins. The cooler measures 120 x 165 x 130mm (WxHxD) and weight 850 grams with two fans attached. Those fans spin from 600 up to 1800 RPM and they can produce up to 53 CFM. If you have enough space in your case, you can add a third fan for a "sandwich" configuration.
Cooler Master includes in the delivery a couple of MF120R RGB fans and a LED controller. Due to the controller, you can change the color of your fans. In addition, if you want more light effects, the controller is compatible with ASRock, Asus, Gigabyte, and MSI motherboards. The MA620P is compatible with both Intel or AMD worlds. If you want use this cooler on a TR4 setup, you have to buy the Threadripper version which goes by the name MA621P TR4.
The MasterAir MA620P is available on Geizhals for almost 100 Euro.
