TechPowerUp GPU-Z 2.8.0 released

More support

The freeware GPU-Z has been a reliable tool for anyone who wants to know more about their graphics card. Meanwhile the software is available in version 2.8. The new release adds support for new GPUs and fixed several critical bugs. As always GPU-Z is available in standard and ASUS ROG Themed versions.


According to the release notes, GPU-Z 2.8.0 includes full support for Radeon RX 460 Mobile, RX 560 Mobile, RX 570 Mobile, RX 580 Mobile, RX 550 based on Baffin LE. In addition it adds support even for some red team card like AMD "Raven Ridge" APUs (RX Vega 8). The previous version of GPU-Z was already compatible with Raven Ridge architecture, however the team has now addressed driver-crash issues.

Furthermore the team has made several improvements of video memory usage on AMD Radeon GPUs and on rendering performance of NVIDIA PerfCap sensor.
