Intel H370, B360 and H310 are coming as well

Budget oriented chipsets

A few months ago, Intel has released the Z370 chipset which is compatible with Coffee Lake processors. According to the rumors, Intel was supposed to release the H370 and B360 chipsests in the following months as well. However the company haven't unveiled any other chipsets but, according to the latest rumors Intel might unveils three more chipsets during next weeks.

As you might know, the Coffee Lake lineup will include four chipsets in total. At the moment we have only the Z370 which is designed for enthusiast motherboards. Intel will add the H370 for the mainstream motherboards that is going to replace the current H270 chipset. Last but not least, Intel will add two entry-level chipsets which are going to be called B360 and H310.

Since Intel Z370 is basically a spec for spec refresh of Z270, we can guess what the H370 and B360 (which isn't named "B350" because AMD is already using it) will have for specs. They should be the refresh of H270 and B250 that we have seen on Kaby Lake. Our guess is that Intel H370 will have 20 PCI-e lanes (4 less than Z370) and eight native USB 3.0 ports (10 on Z370). Intel B360 chipset might pack only 12 PCI-e lanes and six native USB 3.0 ports.

According to the leaked specifications, most of the ATX H370 motherboards come with two PCI-e slots and a couple of M.2 slots. Right after this three more chipsets, we should see Intel Z390 that will replace current Z370.
